In 2011, Miles was the presenting sponsor at a major Gala held in Toronto for Weizmann Canada where significant funds were raised to establish labs and student scholarships. Along with this contribution, Miles gave a substantial gift to establish the Miles and Kelly Nadal and Family Laboratory, which is where visionary research activities in molecular genetics occur. These generous donations give professors and scientists the opportunity to pursue innovative and ground-breaking research that will hopefully lead to huge advancements in global health care.
